Thursday, March 10, 2016; Depart JFK Airport arrive Rome, Friday, March 11th, 2016

DAY 1 – Friday, March 11, 2016; Arrival day
Upon your arrival at the Rome Airport, we will be met by our English-speaking tour leader who will transfer us to the hotel in Rome.  The rest of the day and evening at leisure to explore what Rome has to offer.

DAY 2 – Saturday, March 12, 2016; Rome
After breakfast, meet your English-speaking local guide for a morning tour of the ancient ruins of Rome, including the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, the Imperial Forum, and the Colosseum, followed by a sightseeing tour by coach. This afternoon, enjoy Rome on your own to possibly visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel or enjoy some walking through the beautiful squares of Rome. In the evening, we will enjoy a group dinner together.

DAY 3 – Sunday, March 13, 2016; Rome – Pompeii – Sorrento
After breakfast, board our deluxe motor coach for your transfer to Sorrento.  During our journey, we will stop in Pompeii and visit the excavations of the city that was covered by the volcanic ash of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD.  Upon arrival at our hotel in Sorrento, we enjoy a group dinner together.

DAY 4 – Monday, March 14, 2016; Sorrento - Minori
Transfer to hotel in Minori.  Afternoon at leisure to explore followed by a group welcome dinner.

DAY 5 – Tuesday, March 15, 2016 – Minori – Ravello/Amalfi/Positano - Minori
After breakfast, meet your tour leader and local guide for a full day excursion of the “Divine Amalfi Coast.” The Amalfi Coast or Costiera Amalfitana is a stretch of coastline on the southern side of the Sorrentine Peninsula extending from Positano in the west to Vietri sul Mare in the east.  You will visit Ravello – the dramatic hillside town, famous for its Villa Rufolo.   Continue to Amalfi and visit its historical center. You may want to visit Saint Andrea's Cathedral and the Cloister of Paradise.  Stop in Positano, where at the center of town, you'll see the brightly colored "maiolica" dome of Santa Maria Assunta, the main church of Positano. Spend some leisure time to walk around and experience Positano on your own. Return to your hotel in Minori. Dinner on your own to enjoy one of the local restaurants in Minori.

DAY 6 – Wednesday, March 16, 2016; Minori - Naples/USA
After breakfast and check-out, board your deluxe motor coach, one last time, for your transfer to Naples Airport
and say arrivederci.
